It was anything but sexy — late nights in the back booth, waking up at the crack of dawn for the 9-5 job and trying to juggle family, friends and schooling between it all. Strategy Labs’ founder, Ramsey, and media specialist, Jeremy, discussed their desire to develop an agency that was unlike any agency they had worked with, a hybrid agency. Hybrid in the sense that they wanted an agency that was collaborative and transparent. These were two areas that were always lacking in agencies they had worked with before.
With Ramsey’s extensive background of working with digital agencies, Fortune 500 tech companies and FinTech start-ups, he realized that many of them were missing something pivotal to the company-client relationship. They were missing the ability to deal with the hard facts, the real-time data. So many decisions were made off of opinion or ideation, but where were the hard facts and numbers that confirmed the success of those hypotheses? Through this realization, Ramsey started Strategy Labs.
